 | Friday, May 16th, 2014: Ine 5-5 Against Tennessee "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Belize center fielder Yaichiro Ine said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the Tennessee Smokies at Belize Grounds. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Criollos had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 13-2. Y. Ine singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off L. Garza in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off K. Yoshida in the 8th. Thus far this year Ine has hit .344 with 4 home runs and 16 RBIs. |
