 | Monday, April 28th, 2014: Aguilar 5-5 for Arlington Heights Ángel Aguilar really did a number on the Giant Sloths in the Arlington Heights 11-8 victory. Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 5 at-bats. But Ángel Aguilar did just that today for the Godzillas and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win. "I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 21-year-old right fielder said after his record-setting performance. Á. Aguilar singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This season Aguilar is batting .211 with 19 hits, 2 home runs, 12 RBIs, .294 OBP and has scored 11 runs. |
