 | Wednesday, September 18th, 2013: WL's Premier Hitter for 2013 Named Félix González, the gifted Perth first baseman, really got the attention of the Western League pitchers this past season. He battered them for 169 hits in 511 at-bats, 28 doubles, 1 triple, 19 home runs, 72 RBIs and scored 72 times. That kind of hitting earned him the Western League Outstanding Hitter Award for 2013. González will get his trophy at the SBWA awards banquet this weekend. |
