 | Wednesday, September 4th, 2013: Captains Blank Keys In a knockout performance, Louis-Antoine Turcotte beat the Keys 3-0 with an impressive 5-hit shutout. The Captains hurler finished with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. Turcotte told reporters after the game, "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working ...it don't get any better than this." The Keys manager said, "It was a rough one for my guys. We weren't at our best...and their guy was." So far this season Turcotte has 9 wins and 10 losses and a 4.59 ERA. |
