 | Wednesday, July 17th, 2013: Dodman On Fire! 5-6 for Death Valley! "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Death Valley left fielder Elmer Dodman said to SION reporters after his fantastic 5-6 day against the Shanghai Raiders at Sunfire Ballpark. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Sunfire had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 8-7. E. Dodman singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off R. Colo in the 9th. This season Dodman is hitting at a .353 pace with 10 home runs, 60 RBIs and has scored 68 times. |
