GUBA Double A News Article | |  | Sunday, June 9th, 2013: Britton Bewilders Unrecognizable Blobs in Shutout Todd Britton of the Seattle Storm just toyed with the Easley Unrecognizable Blobs today, blanking them 6-0. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 4-hit shutout with 7 strikeouts and no walks.
"I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Britton said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there."
One of his teammates said it was easy to play behind him today. "It was like he's just playing with the hitters and doing whatever he wanted to do."
To date in 2013, Britton sports a 6-5 mark with a 3.50 ERA in 11 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .225 batting average and has 65 strikeouts in 72 innings. | |
