 | Thursday, June 6th, 2013: Hall 5-7 Against Cuba Today at Cartel Ballpark John Hall put on a hitting clinic as the Medellin center fielder sprayed hits all over the ballpark by lashing Cuba pitching for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. But the Bluesmen didn't really seem to care, they won the game 11-10. He told SION reporters after the game, that he just hit it where they pitched it. "Too often I try to pull the ball too much. Today I just went with the pitch. It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too." J. Hall singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, walked in the 12th and singled in the 14th. This year Hall is hitting .289, produced 6 RBIs and 0 home runs, scored 29 times and gotten on base at a .333 rate. |
