At bat the Raiders floundered, fizzled and failed to score. "His fastball moves and he mixes in the slider," the Shanghai manager said. "He kept us off balance." The Seattle pitcher hurled a 4-hit shutout in an exceptional effort. He gave up 1 walk and numbered 12 strikeouts. "I felt good," Britton said. "That's probably the best fastball I've had all season. I was able to locate it pretty well. They were super-aggressive, which helped me." His record this season is 5-5 in 10 starts and Britton has a 4.00 ERA. |
