Friday, May 24th, 2013: Red-Hot Owens Scorches Godzillas
5 times is a charm -- at least in the world of baseball. When a player gets 5 or more hits in a game, he is honored in the record book and the latest honoree is Andrew Owens of the Seattle Storm.

He tore up the Arlington Heights Godzillas to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the Seattle 10-8 win today at Storm Ballpark.

"Owens was a tough out today," the Arlington Heights manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."

A. Owens singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and doubled in the 11th.

Posting a .288 batting average to date, Owens has 2 home runs and 23 RBIs.
