 | Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012: EL Announces Outstanding Batter Award The 2012 Eastern League Outstanding Hitter Award has been picked and the honor went to the Marquette Suns hitting machine, José Uribe. He compiled a .295 batting average with 138 hits, 13 doubles, 5 triples and 29 home runs, along with 82 RBIs and 83 runs scored. This weekend Uribe will be honored by the SION Baseball Writers Association at its annual awards dinner. |
