 | Monday, October 1st, 2012: Tijuana's McCarthy, Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner Ray McCarthy was the most outstanding pitcher in the Eastern League this year and today was acclaimed the Outstanding Pitcher Award winner for his efforts. McCarthy had a marvelous season, going 17-3 with an impressive 2.34 ERA in 26 starts. He struck out 111 in 188.2 innings and limited opposing batters to a .224 batting average. McCarthy will be honored this weekend at the SION Baseball Writers Association annual awards banquet. |
