 | Tuesday, September 18th, 2012: Marquette Wins Round 3! "Anticipatin' celebratin'" was the Marquette clubhouse slogan for the Round 3 this year -- and celebrate they did, when they beat the Cape Town Rebels 4-3 in the series. The Suns won the deciding game today 8-3 at Ballpark of Marquette for their 1st GUBA Triple A crown. During the 2012 regular season, they registered a 82-48 mark and finished first in the Eastern League North race. |
