In a game played at Ballpark of Hattiesburg, the Hattiesburg third baseman blistered the Madrid Conquistadors for 5 hits in 7 at-bats to pace his club to a 6-3 victory. "Jouda was too tough to get out today," the Conquistadors skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." K. Jouda flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, hit a three-run home run off R.
