 | Wednesday, July 11th, 2012: Pearls Manuel Smacks 5 Hits! José Manuel really sizzled at the plate in today's 11-7 win over Chupacabras. The Quezon City first baseman blistered Tijuana for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Manuel was too tough to get out today," the Chupacabras skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." J. Manuel singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. So far this season Manuel is batting .285 with 5 home runs. |
