 | Friday, August 1st, 2014: Cameron Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Chihuahua could care less about Boyd Cameron's hitting streak. All they care about is who won the game. The Dorados manager told BNN, "Not to belittle his streak, but at the end of the day, the important thing is winning the game, not stopping a hitting streak." Well, the Dorados didn't stop Boyd Cameron today, but they won the game 5-4 over the Monks. The Zhengzhou first baseman was 3-for-8 in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. B. Cameron struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, struck out in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, singled in the 11th, flied out in the 13th and singled in the 15th. This season Cameron is batting .349 with 10 home runs. |
