 | Wednesday, July 30th, 2014: Pak Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games The Pearls proved to be mere mortals today as they lost to the Crawdads 10-0, but Ki-heon Pak continued his god-like hitting as he collected 1 hit and ran his hitting streak to 20 games. When asked about his torrid-hitting first baseman, the Quezon City skipper said, "Pak is playing great and is on fire now. Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Pak was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said, "We lost the game. Nothing else really matters." K. Pak grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th and grounded out in the 6th. Pak is currently batting .316 with 13 home runs and 68 RBIs. |
