 | Monday, July 21st, 2014: Bretton's Season Could be Over The season is ending on a bad note for Chip Bretton, center fielder for the Port-au-Prince Liberators. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Bretton was hurt against the Yokoham Throwing Stars while being hit by a pitch. He suffered a fractured cheekbone and will be out for at least 7 months. Hitting .364 to date, Bretton has 1 home run and 3 RBIs. He has played in 8 games. |
