 | Monday, July 7th, 2014: This Week's Star Player is Román There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Orlando Román, the Hartford right fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Western League Player of the Week honors. Román piled up 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs while hitting .545. So far this year Román is hitting .301 with 8 home runs. |
