 | Monday, June 23rd, 2014: Ayala Batters Mount Prospect Big Time Today the Chupacabras downed the Knights 13-8 as Tony Ayala sprayed hits all over Chupacabras Ballpark in a 5-hit explosion, finishing with 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The Tijuana center fielder said to reporters in the postgame interview, "It makes it easier if you get a good pitch. The odds are in your favor then, not the pitcher's. I got a bunch of very pretty pitches to hit today and I didn't miss any of them." T. Ayala singled in the 1st, walked in a run in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off J. Franco in the 9th.
