 | Monday, June 16th, 2014: EL Star of the Week Announced It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Eastern League, but last week Jesús Ramos of the Phoenix Talons reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Ramos rocked opposing pitching for a .480 average (12-25), 1 home run and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. In 2014, Ramos is hitting .292 with 4 home runs and 24 RBIs in 59 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .321 with 8 walks and 22 runs scored. |
