 | Tuesday, June 10th, 2014: Blair Dominates, Whitewashes Marauders Miguel Blair was dynamite today and just blew Calgary away in the 8-0 victory. The Rome Gladiators starter had everything working as he hurled a 2-hit shutout over the Marauders, recording 7 strikeouts and 2 walks. "He was pure nasty out there today. I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing," said the Calgary skipper during his postgame press conference. This season Blair has a 4-7 mark in 13 starts with a 5.66 ERA. He has given up 72 hits in 68.1 innings, struck out 56 and issued 30 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .267 batting average against him. |
