 | Sunday, May 11th, 2014: Kato Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Just like "Old Man River" Koryusai Kato just keeps on rolling along. The Claxton shortstop stretched his hitting streak to 20 games today at Ballpark of Claxton. He was 2-for-4 in the Blue Knights 2-1 win over the Oakland Knights. K. Kato struck out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th. Thus far in 2014 Kato is batting .340 with 4 home runs, 23 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
