 | Saturday, August 17th, 2013: Ciesielski Shuts Out Sounds "He was kind of teasing them with his offspeed stuff and his fastball was moving everywhere," the Hartford skipper said in postgame comments after Hubert Ciesielski had shut out the Nashville Sounds 5-0 on a 5-hit masterpiece. Ciesielski numbered 5 strikeouts and issued no walks in a gem of a performance. "We just didn't swing the bats very well . . . or he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," complained the Nashville manager after the defeat. In 2013 Ciesielski has posted a record of 11 wins and 10 losses with a 3.64 ERA. He has appeared in 30 games and struck out 98 in 185.1 innings. |
