 | Tuesday, June 4th, 2013: Pettigrew Tosses Shutout Against Rome The Rome Gladiators met their match today in Maui hurler George Pettigrew. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 6-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," the Rome skipper said. "He probably didn't even take a shower after the game. I don't think he even worked up a sweat. They could probably pitch him again tomorrow." In the 3-0 victory Pettigrew whiffed 5 and gave up 2 walks. So far this season Pettigrew has 4 wins and 8 losses and a 5.46 ERA. |
