 | Monday, May 20th, 2013: Reginald Poole of Burlington Injured, DTD Railroaders reliever Reginald Poole was injured while throwing a pitch yesterday against the Indianapolis Racers. It was diagnosed as a a strained back muscle. He is not expected to miss too much action and will be listed as day-to-day. Team doctors said it could be as long as 1-2 weeks before Burlington standout player returns to the lineup. Poole has gone to the hill for 19 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 0-3 record with a 3.65 ERA. The Burlington reliever has limited opposing batters to a .293 batting average. |
