Tuesday, November 27th, 2012: Bennett Stays Put in Santo Domingo
Fans hailed the signing of Curt Bennett today as the Santo Domingo Tortugas reliever came to terms with the club.

Set to make $16,800,000 over the upcoming 3 years, Bennett signed primarily out of loyalty to the organization, thrilling the most diehard supporters who think there isn't much loyalty in a market driven by free agency.

Since Bennett came into the league, he has produced these numbers: In 595 innings, he has struck out 527, walked 185 and saved 35 games while compiling a 44-20 record and a 2.48 ERA.
