 | Saturday, November 24th, 2012: Baltimore and Des Moines Agree to Swap The rumor has been going on for a while now, but today it was made official. The Baltimore Monarchs sent 22-year old minor league left fielder Albert Cruz and 21-year old minor league starting pitcher Dylan Blanc to the Des Moines Kernels for 30-year old third baseman Miguel Quintero and 21-year old starting pitcher Tolek Kapzynski. Officials from both teams seem to be pleased with the deal. During his career Quintero has chalked up 949 hits and a .277 average with 115 home runs and 501 RBIs. |
