 | Wednesday, November 21st, 2012: Volcanoes Deal Reyes to Roos for Turner The rumor has been going on for a while now, but today it was made official. The Manila Volcanoes sent 29-year old right fielder Tony Reyes to the Sydney Roos for 34-year old third baseman Joe Turner. Officials from both teams seem to be pleased with the deal. Reyes has a career .268 average with 698 hits, including 144 doubles, 36 triples and 78 homers, collected 382 RBIs, scored 347 runs and compiled a .329 OBP. Looking at his all-time stats, Turner has a career .256 average with 921 hits, 194 doubles, 29 triples, 213 home runs and 646 RBIs to date. He has scored 527 runs, walked 230 times and stolen 13 bases. |
