 | Thursday, May 1st, 2008: MBBA Honors April's #1 Pitcher When António Hernández takes the mound, a Baltimore victory is usually the result. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 4-0 mark and a 2.82 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 38.1 innings, fanned 28, and held opposing batters to a .219 average. That's why he was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Monty Brewster Baseball Association. |
