He suffered a inguinal hernia while running the bases in the game today against the Chicago Black Sox. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the shortstop. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." St-Louis will miss 4 weeks. His current batting average stands at .262 and he has chalked up 14 home runs and 78 RBIs. |
