 | Saturday, September 15th, 2012: Hot Bat of Martínez Burns Falcons Sydney center fielder Enrique Martínez really lit up the Warsaw Falcons with a 5-hit barrage today at Ballpark of Sydney -- a performance that sparked the Roos to a 11-0 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." E. Martínez doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, doubled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off N. Madrigal in the 9th. Presently Martínez is batting .336 and has collected 5 home runs, 49 RBIs, .372 OBP and scored 93 runs. |
