 | Saturday, September 1st, 2012: August's #1 Batter Announced Carlos Hernández, the Havana Perfectos designated hitter, certainly made his name known to Federation of International Baseball hurlers over the last month. He consistently introduced himself with hit after hit and came away with August's Federation of International Baseball Batter of the Month award. He slashed and bashed his way to a .345 batting average while tallying up 4 home runs, 29 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He also worked FIBB pitchers for 15 walks and a .426 on-base percentage. A look at his 2012 stats shows Hernández with a .306 average, 11 home runs, 60 RBIs and 48 runs scored. He has played in 69 games. |
