Reginald Poole Suffers Injury Reginald Poole of the Birmingham Bandits could be headed for the disabled list after suffering back spasms in a game against the Chicago Black Sox. He is expected to miss at least 1-2 weeks. The Birmingham reliever was injured throwing a pitch. Poole said, "Right now I am pretty sore and I don't feel very good at all." For the season Poole has made 30 relief appearances, recorded 1 save, compiled a 2-3 won-lost mark and a 4.79 ERA. In pitching 41.1 innings, he has totaled 29 strikeouts and 16 walks. |
