 | Wednesday, August 8th, 2012: Coconuts Starting Pitcher Injured The Pago Pago Coconuts will have to make do without Will Jones for 2 weeks. He suffered a strained bicep muscle while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Manila Volcanoes. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the starting pitcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." Jones will miss 2 weeks. This season Jones has registered 9 wins and 10 losses in 24 starts with a 4.18 ERA. |
