Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 5 at-bats. But Mark Coleman did just that today for the Stars and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win.
"I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 30-year-old first baseman said after his record-setting performance.
M. Coleman singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off M. Kwon in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
In 2012, Coleman is hitting .306 with 22 home runs and 85 RBIs in 113 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .358 with 41 walks and 76 runs scored. | |
