 | Wednesday, August 1st, 2012: Shamrocks-Coconuts Trade: Álvarez for Ortega The Dublin Shamrocks have finalized a deal with the Pago Pago Coconuts for the services of 23-year old minor league starting pitcher Curro Ortega. In exchange, the Coconuts will receive 33-year old left fielder Felipe Álvarez. Currently Álvarez is hitting .315 and has collected 10 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 28 times, while playing in 48 games. |
