 | Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012: London Star Johnston Struggles with Injury London's star reliever Artie Johnston injured himself in a game against the Taipei Tigers, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a tender elbow and the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Johnston with a smile as he talked to SION reporters. To this point in the season Johnston has no saves in 22 relief appearances with a 0-0 record and 3.89 ERA. |
