 | Monday, June 4th, 2012: Week's Top Player - Jackson's Ku Kyung-soo Ku must have thought he was in seventh heaven this week. First he went on a sensational hitting spree, belting the ball at a .480 pace, then the Jackson left fielder finds outs he has been selected the top performer and gets the Monty Brewster Baseball Association Player of the Week Award. Asked what his hitting philosophy was, Ku quipped to the SION reporters, "Well, my theory of hitting is to just watch the ball as it comes in and hit it." It was a good week's work for Ku. He hit .480 average (12-25) with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. So far this season, Ku has recorded a .300 batting average with 64 hits, 9 home runs, 29 RBIs, 33 runs scored and a .376 OBP. |
