 | Sunday, April 21st, 2013: Harper 5-6 Against Sydney Max Harper put on a hitting clinic today as the Diablos Rojos dumped the Roos 11-7 at Diablos Park. The Mexico City second baseman sprayed hits all over the ballpark by lashing Sydney pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told SION reporters after the game, that he just hit it where they pitched it. "Too often I try to pull the ball too much. Today I just went with the pitch." M. Harper flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. In 2013 Harper is hitting .346 with 27 hits, no home runs, 10 RBIs, .407 OBP and has scored 11 runs. |
