After his 6-0 no-hitter over the Auckland Warriors he responded, "I don't know," said Taipei's Brock Steward with a grin. "To do what I did, I guess it takes both." On his historic day at Tigers Ballpark Steward made good pitches the entire game, fanned 8 and had 1 walk. When the Warriors hit the ball hard, they hit it right at someone for an out. But that's how you get a no-hitter -- a lot of skill mixed with a little luck. To date this year in 13 starts, Steward has crafted a 4-5 mark with a 3.88 ERA. |
