 | Saturday, July 27th, 2013: Day-to-Day Injury Shelves Bednell The Bogota Toros received some welcome news this morning. They will not need to place reliever Fernan Bednell on the disabled list. During yesterday's game against the Mexico City Diablos Rojos, he was injured throwing a pitch. The injury, however, is not serious. The Bogota star performer is listed as day-to-day with a tender elbow. This season in 29 relief appearances Bednell has thrown 38 innings and collected no saves. His won-lost record is 3-1 with a 6.39 ERA. |
