 | Wednesday, July 24th, 2013: Harrison Out 2 Weeks with Injury It took the Baltimore team doctor a while to realize it, but shortstop Jim Harrison won't simply play through a sore knee after he got hurt running the bases in today's Bisons-Monarchs game. At first, it looked like Harrison might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 2 weeks. A spokesman for the club described the loss of Harrison as a blow, but was confident that he'd be back soon. Harrison is presently hitting at a .235 pace with 13 home runs, 50 RBIs and has scored 55 times. |
