 | Thursday, July 18th, 2013: Manila's Harris Stands Out in Shutout Ronald Harris of Manila easily handled the Tokyo Ninjas, stopping them on 3 hits and chucking a complete game 7-0 shutout. "He really did a job on us," said the Tokyo manager. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and pretty much confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us." Harris said, "Everything was working for me. Throwing my breaking stuff over the plate was big." He finished the game with 9 strikeouts and 2 walks in a solid outing. In 16 starts this season Harris has recorded a 7-4 record and a 3.60 ERA. |
