 | Monday, July 15th, 2013: Watanabe Sidelined for 2 Weeks After the end of today's game between Louisville and Las Vegas, Iemochi Watanabe skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after running the bases, the Sluggers had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The right fielder will miss at least 2 weeks with a strained thigh muscle. Presently Watanabe is batting .292 with 27 home runs and 67 RBIs. He has played in 93 games and scored 54 times. |
