 | Thursday, July 11th, 2013: Jensen and Billings Swapped The rumor has been going on for a while now, but today it was made official. The Bogota Toros sent 20-year old minor league second baseman Ted Jensen to the Louisville Sluggers for 39-year old closer Fred Billings. Officials from both teams seem to be pleased with the deal. So far this year, Billings has chalked up 14 saves. In 25 relief appearances, he has 21 strikeouts in 28.1 innings with a 3.49 ERA. His season won-lost mark is 0-4. |
