His eyes would light up when he came to the plate and he hit everything in sight, batting .500 for the week to win the FIBB Player of the Week Award. The Tokyo right fielder cracked 10 hits in 20 at-bats, 3 home runs, drove in 7 runs and scored 5 times. Posting a .273 batting average to date, Costa has 5 home runs and 19 RBIs. |
