 | Monday, July 1st, 2013: Myst-Tortugas Deal: Goupil for Torres The Manhattan Myst have parted ways with 23-year old minor league shortstop Alex-Antoine Goupil, sending him to the Santo Domingo Tortugas for 29-year old reliever Eduardo Torres and 20-year old minor league catcher César Garza. The Myst general manager confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. Torres has taken the mound for 37 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 4-1 record with a 1.02 ERA. The Manhattan reliever has limited opposing batters to a .202 batting average. |
