The Chicago right fielder easily handled Wolves pitching, going 5 for 5, but the Black Sox came out on the short end of the score 11-4.
He told SION reporters in the postgame interview, "I'm glad I got the hits, but I would trade three or four of 'em for a win...maybe even all 5 of 'em."
The Black Sox skipper added, "Well, it's a shame we didn't get the victory today, especially with his standout performance. Let's just hope our team can do better tomorrow."
D. Abrams singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off A. Shimizu in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
Abrams is hitting .310 this season with 20 home runs, 52 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has 89 hits in 287 at-bats. | |
