Global Unified Baseball Association News Article | | | Monday, June 24th, 2013: Ware Will Miss 2 Months It took the Las Vegas team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Robbie Ware won't simply play through a herniated disc after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Quakes-Hustlers game. At first, it looked like Ware might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 2 months. A spokesman for the club described the loss of Ware as a blow, but was confident that he'd be back soon.
This season Ware has crafted a 9-0 mark with a 1.22 ERA in 132.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .185 against him and he has 152 strikeouts. | |
