 | Friday, June 7th, 2013: Las Vegas's Ruíz Injured Mario Ruíz of the Las Vegas Hustlers could be headed for the disabled list after suffering a strained bicep muscle in a game against the Long Beach Surfers. He is expected to miss at least 2 weeks. The Las Vegas starting pitcher was injured throwing a pitch. Ruíz said, "Right now I am pretty sore and I don't feel very good at all." This season to date, Ruíz has fashioned a 3-3 mark and 2.61 ERA in 69 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .246 against him and he has logged 68 strikeouts. |
